Sylvia is an associate in the Corporate & Securities practice group.
Prior to law school, Sylvia worked as a Pro Bono Project Coordinator for the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago; in this role, she represented NIJC clients in humanitarian and family-based immigration matters as a Department of Justice accredited representative. During law school, she served in both the Mayor’s Office of Chicago and the City of Chicago Department of Law, where she researched and drafted legal proposals. Most recently, she participated in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission student honors program, where she supported investigations and prosecutions of securities violations. Sylvia was also a Summer Associate at NGE.
