Neal Gerber Eisenberg is proud to announce that it has attained Mansfield 4.0 Certification after successfully completing the 12-month certification program led by Diversity Lab. This marks the third year of NGE’s participation in the Mansfield program.
To achieve Mansfield Certification, NGE confirmed that at least 30% of the candidates it considered for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities, and senior lateral positions were attorneys from historically underrepresented groups, including women, attorneys of color, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities.

"We strongly believe having a diverse team of attorneys and leaders helps us better serve our clients, and the Mansfield Rule is an excellent benchmark for us to measure our progress."
For next year’s certification, more than 160 large law firms are participating in Mansfield Rule 5.0, including 49 new firms. All firms that meet the required Mansfield Rule Certification parameters will be able to send their newly promoted underrepresented partners to Client Forums to meet and learn from hundreds of influential legal department leaders.
