Amanda is a member of Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s Private Wealth Services practice group, where she focuses her practice on estate, tax, charitable and corporate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, closely-held businesses, private foundations and family offices. She is highly experienced in drafting complex wills and trusts for clients, and has successfully represented trustees and trust beneficiaries in fiduciary litigation.

Amanda advises clients on all tax and legal matters regarding charitable and planned giving, including private foundations and donor-advised funds. She is a trusted private tax attorney and is adept in preparing gift and estate tax returns.

She is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council and Chicago Bar Association, and the Former Chair of the YLS Estate Planning Committee. Additionally, she is a board member of Emerge of the Museum of Contemporary Art. Amanda has engaged in numerous speaking presentations for organizations such as the Chicago Bar Association’s Trust Law Committee and Estate Planning Committee.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Amanda worked in the fine art industry as a Private Client Services Administrator for Sotheby’s and as an Archivist and Auction Liaison at the Spanierman Gallery in New York City.
