NGE Labor & Employment associate Kaytee Okon published an article in the University of Illinois Law Review titled "Poodle Pandemonium: Emotional Support Animals and the Covenant of Quiet Enjoyment." Kaytee argues that states should implement stricter regulations for the registration of emotional support animals (ESAs), and that ESAs should only be prescribed by a licensed mental health physician who has treated the patient in person and knows of his or her condition.
