Angela Elbert, chair of the firm’s Insurance Policyholder group, was recently quoted in the Law360 article “Insurance Legislation & Regulation: Midyear Report,” published on June 23.  In the article, Angela discusses a failed New York bill that was intended to give policyholders a statutory cause of action for bad faith against insurers doing business in New York that refuse or delay payment of insurance claims.
