On May 17, the Professional Development Committee of the Federal Bar Association presented the webinar "Law Firm Cybersecurity and Ethical Obligations/Cyber Risk Assessments." The webinar was moderated by Intellectual Property Associate Daniel Terhune, with David Wheeler, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Chair, presented. They discussed cybersecurity controls under the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and data breach considerations, as well as the latest developments in the legal landscape, with an emphasis on the tools needed for smaller firms.
