NGE recently represented Illinois-based media companies News-Gazette, Inc. and its subsidiary D.W.S., Inc. in connection with the Chapter 11 sale of their businesses to Champaign Multimedia Group LLC for $4.5 million.  The News-Gazette Inc. is the leading news source in East Central Illinois, operating ten publications in and around Champaign, Illinois, where D.W.S., Inc. operates three radio stations.  The NGE team consisted of Nicholas Miller and Tom Wolford.  The sale is expected to close in early November, pending regulatory approvals.
