Emily is an associate in the Corporate & Securities group. She advises clients on a range of corporation transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, growth equity transactions, and venture capital investments. Emily has represented private equity funds in acquiring, selling, and managing portfolio companies, including in cross-border transactions. She also counsels clients on general corporate and governance matters. In her pro bono work, Emily has worked with nonprofits and helped individuals seeking asylum.
While in law school, Emily received recognition for her academic work in constitutional law, served on student government, was a member editor on the Stanford Journal of International Law, and participated in the Stanford International Refugee Assistance Program. Prior to law school, she was a paralegal specialist for the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division and during law school she was a legal intern for the United States Department of Defense Office of Military Commissions.
Prior to joining NGE, Emily worked for two international law firms.
