Labor & Employment Associate Alissa Griffin contributed to the SHRM article, “Should Employers Report Nonbinary Employees on the EEO-1 Form?” Alissa spoke to the possible repercussions of not acknowledging an employee’s gender and how it can lead to concerns of sex-based discrimination. The article describes the challenges employers may face with this year’s EEO-1 forms, in light of the EEOC’S removal of filing instructions for reporting nonbinary employees.
