This week, Litigation & Disputes Partner Steve Pflaum received the Champion of Ethics and Integrity Award from the Illinois Judges Association. The award was presented by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Rochford in recognition of Steve’s decades of service to the Illinois Judicial Ethics Committee (IJEC), which he has chaired for more than ten years since its founding in 1992.
Through IJEC, Steve has helped shape judicial ethics in Illinois by issuing formal advisory opinions, providing confidential guidance to judges, and recommending amendments to the Illinois Code of Judicial Conduct. His unwavering commitment to integrity continues to strengthen the legal profession.
