The Legal 500 USA Recommends Four Neal Gerber Eisenberg Practices and 12 Attorneys in the 2017 Edition

Four Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP practice groups and 12 attorneys have been recognized among the top in the nation in the newly released 2017 edition of The Legal 500 United States.

The firm was recommended in the areas of M&A/Corporate & Commercial: M&A: Middle-market (sub-$500 million), Real Estate, Employee Health & Retirement Plans, and for the first time, US Taxes: Non-contentious.

Clients who worked with Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s Corporate practice group said the firm’s “skilled lawyers provide extremely high availability, constructive advice and a commercial approach; they invest time in learning clients’ businesses, are great at following up on matters without over-selling their services, and keep clients in mind after deals have closed.”

David S. Stone was noted for his experience in advising domestic and international clients in the energy, mining, insurance, technology, manufacturing and service industries. John J. Koenigsknecht is described as “a very good team leader and it is clear that his spirit and ambition to always deliver on time and be available around the clock have influenced his entire team of colleagues.” Michael B. Gray, Cristina W. DeMento and Joshua A. Klein are also recommended.

Patricia S. Cain and Jeffrey J. Bakker, partners in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice group, were recommended for assisting a client with obtaining a determination letter from the IRS on its retirement plan, and for representing a capital management client regarding the retention of a new plan adviser and preparation of a new document and summary plan description.
