Marshall is an associate in the Intellectual Property group, where he advises clients on a broad range of trademark, copyright, and patent matters. His practice includes intellectual property litigation, enforcement, and prosecution, helping clients protect, manage, and maximize the value of their intellectual property assets.

Before joining NGE, Marshall assisted startup companies with trademark matters through the University of Illinois Intellectual Property Clinic. While in law school, Marshall was the Managing Notes Editor of the Illinois Law Review and a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois. He also conducted historical research on election gambling law during Abraham Lincoln’s legal practice. Marshall was previously a Summer Associate at NGE.
