Laura is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice group. She focuses her practice on assisting clients with a variety of patent matters including counseling, prosecution, and litigation. She works with clients across a diverse range of industries including gaming technology, process control equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
While in law school, Laura served as a student attorney in the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic, where she counseled and represented juveniles and adults facing criminal charges. At Auburn University, Laura was Technical Director, Lead Powertrain Engineer, and Machine Shop Supervisor for Auburn’s Formula SAE Team, collaborating with other engineering students to design, build, and test a competitive, formula-style race car.
