Jarrett Gross is Counsel in the Litigation & Disputes practice group. Drawing on his law firm and in-house experience, Jarrett represents businesses, officers, and directors in their most complex disputes and in mitigating litigation risk.
Jarrett has extensive experience litigating commercial and contract matters and has both prosecuted and defended claims arising from a wide range of M&A agreements, many of which have involved managing cross-border discovery of evidence and depositions. Jarrett has also defended clients from stockholder derivative and class action claims, including breach of fiduciary duty claims, activist stockholder matters, federal securities claims, and books and records litigation.
Jarrett regularly advises clients on optimal approaches to mitigating litigation risk in transaction structuring. He has experience as in-house counsel at a fast-growing data company and leverages that experience as well as his deep knowledge of corporate fiduciary duties and business torts to help clients assess and avoid litigation risk where doing so is practical from a business perspective.
