With more than a decade of litigation experience, Amanda (Mandi) brings a unique blend of in-house counsel and law firm perspective to her work. Her practice involves defending the multifaceted interests of public and private corporations, particularly within the healthcare industry. Mandi maintains a significant trial practice concerning payor-provider disputes and represents clients in private arbitration as well as state and federal courts.

Known for substantial litigation experience in healthcare and commercial disputes, Mandi combines strategic rigor with a calm, collaborative presence that clients value in high-stakes situations. Before joining the firm, Mandi served as General Counsel for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, where she managed a team of more than 100 attorneys and staff. In that role, she shaped policy and navigated sensitive matters with precision and compassion. Her experience at top-tier and boutique litigation firms enables her to swiftly identify client needs and deliver results.

Widely regarded as a culture carrier who helps teams perform at their best, Mandi’s leadership extends beyond her practice. She has held positions with the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law, Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, Unsilence, and Equality Illinois, and provides pro bono support on matters related to reproductive health care.
