Amanda (Mandi) Wolfman is Counsel in the Litigation & Disputes practice group. With a blend of law firm and in-house experience, Mandi has adeptly handled her clients’ litigation needs for over a decade. She focuses her practice on solving her clients’ legal and business problems, whether through litigation, settlement or other creative solutions.

As a commercial litigation associate and partner, Mandi represented clients in a broad range of complex commercial matters before state and federal courts, and handled cases throughout the various stages of litigation. Most recently, as General Counsel at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Mandi managed a team of more than 100 attorneys and legal staff, oversaw the agency’s litigation and consent decrees, and collaborated with numerous stakeholders to resolve an array of legal and operational issues.

Mandi is committed to serving her clients, colleagues and communities for the duration of her career. Prior to studying law, Mandi received her Master’s Degree in Social Work and worked as a Specialized Foster Care Case Manager in Chicago. She has been involved with numerous civic organizations and previously served in leadership positions at the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law, Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, Unsilence, and Equality Illinois. From 2015 to 2019, Illinois Super Lawyers recognized Mandi as a Rising Star.
