At Neal Gerber Eisenberg, we’re always looking for ways to deliver high-quality legal services more efficiently and effectively. As part of that effort, we may use generative artificial intelligence (GAI) tools to assist with certain tasks when we believe it will benefit your matter.

We want to be transparent about how we use these tools and the safeguards we have in place to protect your interests.

How We Use GAI Tools

GAI tools can help us streamline routine or time-consuming tasks, allowing our attorneys to focus more on the strategic and analytical aspects of your representation. These tools are never a substitute for legal judgment. We will carefully review any work product generated with the help of GAI to ensure it is accurate, complete, and appropriate for your specific needs.

Protecting Your Confidential Information

We understand how important it is to keep your information secure and confidential. We will only use GAI tools when we are confident that:

  • Your data will not be accessible to the GAI tool’s other users.
  • Your data will not be retained by the GAI tool or its provider.
  • Your data will not be used to train or improve the GAI tool beyond the immediate task at hand.

We will only use these tools when we believe the benefits clearly outweigh the risks and when appropriate protections are in place.

Questions or Concerns?

We believe that the responsible use of GAI tools can enhance the value we provide to you.
