Peter manages negotiation and documentation of a broad range of commercial lending and financing transactions, including private banking, middle-market and large corporate financing transactions, asset-based lending, public finance, secured transactions, syndicated loans, participations, debt subordinations, and transactions involving Eurodollar, multi-currency and cross-border financing.
He represents financial institutions, but also secures financing for businesses spanning the full spectrum of industries throughout Illinois and the upper Midwest, including consumer products manufacturers, distributors, food manufacturers, transportation and logistics companies and numerous businesses and individuals seeking aircraft financing. He also regularly negotiates and documents debt workouts and restructurings, recapitalizations, asset purchases and dispositions, and related transactions.
In addition to having a career in private practice, Peter worked as in-house counsel for two large banks, which gave him a unique understanding of market fluctuations and the complex regulatory environment in which banks operate. This practical experience, coupled with years of private practice, enables him to navigate regulatory challenges successfully and help clients obtain the financing they need for their operations.
