Chuck has experience representing national companies in ad valorem state and local property tax appeals, as well as experience in identifying and obtaining state and local property tax exemptions and incentives for both commercial and industrial properties.

Chuck has done extensive work for the Cook County Assessor’s office, where he served as the Chief Legal Counsel, First Assistant Assessor, and on the Cook County Assessor’s Special Advisory Committees. He has also served as the Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County Civil Division in Litigation. Charles has served as the Exemptions Sub-Committee Chairman for the Illinois Department of Revenue’s Committee to Recodify Property Tax Act, as well as the Chairman of the Civic Federation of Chicago’s Property Tax Committee. Currently, he is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and Lambda Alpha International.

Chuck served as law clerk to John S. Boyle, Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.

After law school, Chuck enlisted in the U. S. Army, was commissioned at the Infantry School, Fort Benning, Georgia, in August 1968, attended Ft. Holabird and served with the First Infantry and 25th Infantry Divisions in Vietnam.
