Neal Gerber Eisenberg Partner Sonya Rosenberg Recognized Among 2017 "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch"

Neal Gerber Eisenberg is pleased to announce that firm partner Sonya Rosenberg has been named one of the 2017 “40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch” by the publisher of the Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

This honor recognizes those attorneys who demonstrate excellence in the legal profession and are viewed as the next generation of leaders and trailblazers by fellow attorneys. Individuals are selected on the basis of peer nominations.

“Sonya embodies the qualities that have been the hallmarks of Neal Gerber Eisenberg since its founding: dedication to clients, excellence in the practice of law and a larger concern to do what is right not only for those clients, but also with respect to the community as a whole,” said Scott J. Fisher, Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s managing partner. “I am thrilled that she has been chosen to receive such a prestigious and well-deserved honor.”

Sonya counsels companies and organizations on various employee-related legal issues that arise through the many stages of the employment relationship, as well as representing employers in litigation.

“Sonya . . . has never lost sight of the fact . . . [that] the law is about people – the people she serves, the people she helps, the people who are affected by the positions she counsels her clients to take,” said Vicki Donati, general counsel at Crate & Barrel. “She has a strong sense of ethics and morality, and she is unafraid to stand up for the people and the principles in which she believes.”

This is the eighth consecutive year that a Neal Gerber Eisenberg attorney has received this honor.
