We represent clients in key business transactions involving the development, acquisition, licensing and distribution of all types of technology. These deals include strategic sourcing arrangements; software licenses and sublicenses; data distribution and licensing arrangements; hardware purchases and leases; software development arrangements; and various reseller, OEM and private labeling agreements. Frequently, we negotiate on behalf of our clients with the major IT hardware and software vendors, including Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Salesforce, and IBM.
We also negotiate and draft cloud computing and machine learning agreements, networking agreements, hosting arrangements, electronic trading agreements and manifold other technology agreements. We have represented clients with respect to agreements that range in value from thousands to hundreds of millions of dollars.
We are particularly skilled and experienced in negotiating and drafting technology and data-related agreements and payment processing agreements for and against some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Lastly, several of our attorneys have acted, or are currently acting, as in-house counsel for various clients, including overseeing crucial licensing programs.
