Ben is an associate in the Litigation & Disputes practice group.  He assists on complex commercial litigation matters and has experience conducting legal research, performing discovery and drafting pleadings and dispositive motions. Ben also utilizes these skills to advocate on behalf of policyholders in insurance coverage disputes.

In 2020, Ben was recognized as an NGE Pro Bono All Star for his work with Legal Aid Chicago.  His contribution included researching and drafting a memo discussing First and Fourth Amendment claims protesters can bring to remedy protest-related police misconduct.

Before he became a lawyer, Ben was a judicial extern for the Circuit Court of Cook County where he drafted orders and analyzed motions, and an intern for the Mayor of Chicago where he assembled the mayor’s daily briefing and helped supervise the mayor’s events across Chicago.  In law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the Notre Dame Law Review. Ben also served as a Fellow for the Alumni Relations Office, where he helped organize and facilitate alumni networking events with law students.
